Zhao and Sharon, </p> It's a beautiful mystery, how every miracle can be so different. In some ways, I see the change of the chi reflected in the change in me. I do not know how Master Zhao sends his energy, power, and love through the air, hundreds of miles away. It's the type of stories that you never really believe until it happens to you. </p> One door opens as another closes. There was such a strength, confidence, and power that came from developing my body and fighting. Yet, in the end, I was like a rock. Solid, yet limited. Shaped to perfection, but never remaining there. An armor of steel and muscle, yet empty within. </p> In Master's touch I see the power of softness. You cannot break what is shapeless. You cannot hold what is formless. </p> I am grateful and honored to have experienced this unlimited power of the Master I always sought but never found as a child. It seems almost destiny, for me to be broken so I can be opened anew. Maybe I had to be so dramatically removed from the external yang that I love to see the internal yin within. With this thought, the injury no longer seems like an endless fall, but rather, just another step in the journey of life. It would not have been possible without you. Thank you for giving me meaning and hope in a time when all doctors had abandoned me and I had begun to forsake myself. </p> The first time Master Zhao treated me, I felt the tingling of winds within my posterior deltoid. It began to fire automatically, like the sensation of a million electric acupunctures. I felt it growing, layer by layer, fiber by fiber, cell by cell. I saw electricity and thunder within the nerves, as they connected back to the muscles that missed them so. </p> In the second coming, the sensations spread to my middle deltoids, larger and stronger than even before. It seems as the nerve was running along the path that the Stanford doctor had predicted: posterior, middle, than anterior. Except, he and they have all said I would never heal. </p> For eighteen months, my shoulder had atrophied due to nerve damage. My muscle became bones. My body collapsed into itself. My hormone levels dropped to half of what it once be, as if I aged 30 years. I lost 40 pounds of muscle that I had worked all my life to create. I began to lose even my mind, my heart, my soul. </p> Master Zhao says, "It's okay now. Everything will be fine." Goosebumps formed and tears dropped as I began to believe that I could be a medical miracle, that I would make muscle out of bones, that nerves would return and my body would come back. </p> In the third treatment, I felt the sensations spread to my anterior deltoid, firing into the clavicles that had loss the shoulder. The sensation was intense and burning. In the fourth, my entire shoulder began to fire together! Boom. Boom. I felt the muscle beat, as if my heart had entered the shoulder. </p> In the fifth session, the sensation penetrated even deeper into the shoulder, as if it went into the bones. I did not feel as much muscle activity as I did in the past. Instead, I felt a fire that spread, like ripples in the pond. On the sixth session, I felt the same deep penetration of the chi. I was confused as to what it meant, but I knew it was changing, and growing. </p> Now, in our first phone session, I felt a soft air stimulating the shoulder. They began to flex and twitch as they did in the first four sessions. It was a lighter touch than before. Yet, it felt like it was exactly what the shoulder needed. Then, the deep fire began to enter again. At first, it was spreading like the previous two sessions, then, it began to melt. I felt like there my shoulder became molten lava, moving without form. The shoulder began to get squeezed, as if it was an orange and the chi was the juicer. Like a balloon, the shoulder expanded and contracted. Within fifteen minutes, the session was over. </p> I lied on the bed for thirty minutes more, experiencing the power of the chi. I wanted it to stay there forever, healing all the damages of my body. I cannot wait to meet Master Zhao again in three weeks, to learn the power and miracle of chi from the greatest doctor and Master I have ever seen. </p> Master Zhao gave me more than the powerful chi and healing body. He gave me hope, faith, and strength to return my mind and soul.
